10-8 is a full service repair facility for all of your fire pump needs. From ball valve replacement and rebuilds to gear box repairs and impellar replacements, There is no job to big or to small. Addressing pump issues can be a daunting task to take on by yourself. Having the proper tools and in depth knowledge of pump components, operations and configurations from fire pumps of both today and years past, we can give you peace of mind while your unit is having repairs completed by the skilled technicians at our facility or your firehouse.
Our expansive parts area and our service trucks are fully equipped with pump parts, component replacement kits, pump packing and valve rebuild kits for Hale, Waterous & Darley pumps as well as Class 1, Elkhart and Akron parts. Having the parts on hand allows us to get units completed and back in service faster, ensuring you can protect the lives and property of your community when the next fire happens.
Pump Services:
Many local fire apparatus repair facilities are not PA licensed inspection stations. What does that mean? It means additional down time while your apparatus is shuffled from facility to facility, which in the end results in longer down time and higher bills.
Getting PM’s done while the unit is out for annual inspection is a great idea to minimize down time. Why not get it all done at one facility by the same knowledgeable techs. Not only can we perform an inspection on your apparatus but all of the necessary repairs including steering, suspension, driveline, DOT and motor issues can be addressed at one place. This allows us to pass along that savings to the customer.
